The Haunting of Hill House: The Howling of Bly Manor: Season 2

If you’re into creepy, supernatural series that leaves you with a bit of thrill, this series is for you! A Netflix original; season 1 was released in October of 2018 so you have some time to catch up before season 2 premiering in late 2020/ early 2021. The series’ season 1 was based on a novel by Shirley Jackson that follows the Crane family and their story into adulthood. Forced to reunite after a tragic event; the family makes their way back to Hill House, where they spent their childhood to face some pretty creepy events which they’d thought to have left behind. Each episode keeps you hooked enough to give way to the final episode’s thrilling end! Producer of the show, Mike Flanagan confirmed that season 2 will focus on a new family with their own set of past ghosts to face.

Russian Doll: Season 2

Russian Doll is a thrillingly hilarious comedy/drama series set in New York. The series follows Nadia Vulvokov, a games developer that finds herself in a sticky situation on her 36th birthday. If you enjoyed the likes of movies like Groundhog Day and Happy Death Day; this series is certainly for you. Season one initially released in early 2019 with a solid 8 episodes and season 2 was set to launch in February of 2020 but no news of release was mentioned early in the year. We should expect to see it mid to late 2020. The series will hold your attention and leave you questioning yourself well after you’ve completed season 1.

Enjoy this home-grown series late into February.
